My friend Sam and I Attended a Public Talk by Dr.Mohd Daud Bakar, Chairman Amanie Holdings on:-
" RIBA, GHARAR, KHATAR, DHAMAN & RIBH ".

The talk is conducted at IIUM Damansara campus as part of the IIiBF Discussion Series.

It was pointed out by Dr.Daud that the term "Gharar" and "Khatar" have been used interchangeably when this should not have been the case.

A discussion on Islamic Finance within the context of money and its scope in the Nusantara was held on the 2nd Day of the Nusantara Leadership Camp 2013 (NLC 2013).

Discussion was held during the night session called " DIALOG INSPIRATIF : Youth Movement for Change "

Talk on ISLAMIC ESTATE PLANNING @Kelana Jaya. SATURDAY, 27th APRIL 2013 (10AM-12NOON).

UPDATE:
The 1st QIBLAH consulting - AS SALIHIN TRUSTEE BERHAD Talk on "Islamic Estate Planning" was successfully held yesterday in Kelana Jaya. Slight change of Speaker from As Salihin i.e. Ustaz Ramzi instead of Ustaz Tarmizi.

Most Participants were local and came from amongst others Damansara Utama, Kota Damansara & TTDI.One took the trouble to come all the way from Sabah. Also appearing was Mr.Aziz Peru - CEO of As Salihin Trustee Berhad.

Syukran to all those who supported. It was an invaluable experience for the organisers as well.

Overall it was a successful outing for Blogger and also from the IF Media angle at the 3rd World Riba Conference 2012 held in Kuala Lumpur from 26-27th November 2012.

WHY SUCCESSFUL?
~ Why Successful? - Well, 2 main reasons:-
FIRSTLY, it was the first time I'd managed to interview a number of International Speakers who were "NOT holding back their shots" so to speak in their unanimous condemnation of the present usury-based system and the failings of the present economic chaos.

and SECONDLY, posssible collaborative projects are in the works.

More Importantly, my network and linkages have been expanded... reminiscence of the days whilst attached to the Political and Security Co-operation Directorate at the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta-Indonesia.
